“ Which of my photographs is my favorite? The one I’m going to take tomorrow." – Imogen Cunningham

Hi, I’m Kenn – a husband, father, photographer, engineer, and I am loving life everyday in Wading River, NY. Someone gave me a film camera when I was 16 and that was just the beginning of my passion! I loved it! I bought my second camera back in the late 1960s, a Canon FT-QL 35mm camera (I still have it!). The thrill of collecting photos from the developer is something I shall never forget. First there was the wait of a few days while they developed my film. Then I would go to collect the photos and receive that envelope - heavy with the smell of print chemicals. And slowly, slowly I would open the envelope, pulling the prints out one by one. Which photos were successes? Which were failures? How did that new technique work out? That anticipation is possibly the only thing I miss with digital photography.

If you’re a dad, like me, you know only too well that the most beautiful moments are fleeting:

  • •    The first time you look into your newborn’s eyes
  • •    The first steps, first words, first day of school
  • •    Your Daughters first date with THAT guy!
  • •    And that biggest day of their life…Their Wedding
  • •    And there is so much more...

You will never forget any of these things, but sometimes it’s hard to remember all the details.

I know you’re here for a reason – because you believe (as I do) that photography really matters and can add depth and meaning to life – not just today, but years down the road.

Someday, your children will be all grown up, and they won’t remember everything you told them about their childhood.

When that time comes, you’ll want photographs that succeeded in capturing the joy and love of those early years, which you can then share with your grandchildren, and their grandchildren.

You know that you’re not going to get that from someone who just “takes your picture”. You want to capture – in all its glory – the beauty of your child or your family right now, because everything will have changed by tomorrow.

Tomorrow will bring another milestone, or another adventure, but “today” will have become “yesterday”, “last week”, “last month”, or “last year”.

One of the great things you can expect from me is to make you laugh, smile, and see the love you have for each other in your eyes.

Through my passion for photography, I see the “real” you through my lens, so that you can take those precious moments and share them with the world.

A Little About Me

I’ve been married to my best friend, Gayle (she’s put up with me since 1986), and we have three beautiful, charming, headstrong, fully grown children, Ryan, William and Andrya. Our guys kept us on our toes daily, but I couldn’t imagine anything better than watching them grow and learn and having those images to look back on.

Thank you

Kenny
